Welcome to "Here to There"! My name is Terry Gassett and I’m a professionally trained Christian Life Coach, specializing in the needs of my fellow Christians, as they navigate their way through the challenges of life.
I am first and foremost privileged to be a child of God, redeemed through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. All that I am and all that I seek to do flows through Him and is empowered by His amazing grace.
As a Christian Life Coach, I offer a designed alliance between myself and my client, encouraging and supporting them to maximize both their personal and professional potential. Among Christians, there is a third person in the alliance; the Holy Spirit who resides inside us and empowers us to “will and to do the Father’s good pleasure.”
I’m happily married to the Reverend Bill Gassett and we have just celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary! I have served with him in the ministry for 25 years. As a pastor's wife, I have experienced both the joys and the frustrations of ministry. As a Christian Coach, I’m able to channel my experience and compassion to guide others in the ministry. Recently, my husband and I completed our shared vision of building a bed and breakfast retreat www.lejardinnatchez.com for those who need a respite from the pressures of life and ministry.
We have been blessed with three beautiful children and three precious grandchildren. I had the privilege of home schooling two of our children from kindergarten through high school graduation. This experience empowered me with valuable insights into the home education process and I greatly enjoy encouraging others who choose this path.
As a small business owner myself, I really enjoy working with entrepreneurial women. In my experience as both a Christian Life Coach and Bed and Breakfast owner, I have gained both practical and hands on business experience which I am passionate about sharing with women on the path to empowerment through business ownership.

When my first husband walked out on me, I found myself in the unexpected role of "single mom." I worked full time in the legal field, experiencing all the challenges of balancing work and raising a child alone. I understand the joys and frustrations of hard working single moms and applaud them for their sacrifices. It’s my pleasure to take their hand and help escort them through their walk.
Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I have learned to live a joyful and full life of service despite the challenges of a chronic illness.
After a season of shattered dreams, I learned the value of surrendering both myself and the shards of these broken dreams over to God's redemptive power and have experienced first-hand His miracle of restoration!
Through the process of life coaching, I have discovered and pursued Christ's unique purpose and vision for myself in this season of life and am passionate about helping others do the same!
I am professionally trained through the International Coach Federation and the Professional Christian Coaching Institute and I abide by the ICF Code of Ethics. This training, coupled with being able to call upon my own life experiences, enables me to serve my clients thoroughly and effectively.
In addition to my professional training, the strengths I bring to coaching are a love of the Lord, love of life, love of people and love of learning. I see potential in each person and in each situation.
My highly intuitive ahnd emphatic nature allows me to hear the unvoiced questions of those struggling to find the right words. I help give voice to what lies beneath. My strong strength in strategizing allows me to identify patterns that act as recurrent stumbling blocks. Together we’ll uncover these harmful patterns and forge a new path. We’ll think outside the box and explore new and effective ways to move forward.
I firmly believe there is new life in Christ, power through prayer, strength through weakness and beauty for ashes for the Christian who is rooted and grounded in Christ's love. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit and the resurrection power of His life, you can move past today to a joyful promising and fulfilling tomorrow.
